Since I’ve completely quit watching 24 hour news shows, my awareness of national news is limited to my RSS feeds. Since I haven’t had much puter time at home lately, I missed this incredibly bone-headed blunder about how we managed to screw up our connection to Al-Qaeda’s communications network.
My friend Tom Kirkham at Lucid Points succinctly tells the story, and offers up a link to Washington Post.
While talking heads blast each other and try to out-sell each other in the bookstores, Americans are so busy trying to choose up sides with these self-serving egomaniacs, they’re missing the real news happening under our very noses. Heck, I’m just as guilty — just because I’m boycotting the stupidity doesn’t indemnify me from my responsibility to be informed.
