Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank told the NFL Network Monday he was “not really surprised” by news of the quarterback’s plea.
“From a personal standpoint, he’s doing the right thing,” Blank said. “That’s been my counsel to him some while ago, and publicly as well, to get this behind him as quickly as he can.”
Blank said he could not speculate on Vick’s future as a Falcon, at least not until he has seen “a statement of facts” in the case.
The plea, he said, was “a step, and we’ll just deal with the facts as they become available.”

Here’s the thing, even if the Falcons owner and the NFL commissioner at some point allow Vick to return to the field, do we — as fans — REALLY want to cheer for a guy who murdered animals for kicks? Who trained them to fight to the death so that people could make MONEY off their pain and suffering???
Not me.
I would, however, pay good money to see Michael Vick in a courtroom, knowing these characters were in the jury box deciding the Falcon’s fate.
