Check this out — a man in Leavenworth donated an antique shotgun to the U.S. Marshals Service, for display in the museum to be located in Fort Smith.
According to Gartz, the rifle was used by a U.S. Marshal in Arizona who had a reputation for bringing back more dead criminals than live criminals.
The 16-gauge double-barrel shotgun has a U.S. Marshals insignia on the butt of the rifle and is also stamped with other markings.
