NOW it’s okay to talk about the condition of the race cars if the sports reporters have a mind to. Looks like Millikan is gonna pull through. Turns out he was in the sleeper — not driving — when the accident occurred yesterday.
But I still have unanswered questions — how long had Millikan been on the team? Does he have another position on the crew? How long had he been driving the 6 hauler? How about the kid who was actually driving? As I recall, a guy named Bart Starr (no joke) drove Mark’s hauler.
Seems like Roush PR would be more on top of this story. And it sure seems like long-time NASCAR reporters would have some background of their own.
Former NASCAR driver Joe Millikan was in stable condition in intensive care at Thomason Hospital in El Paso, Texas, after being injured in Wednesday’s crash of a Roush Racing transporter.
